I used to work in the insurance industry. I was the manager over the claims department. My job was to make sure my company made a good profit. That profit was at the expense of injured parties who didn't understand how the claims process worked. Let's just say I didn't like my job that much. After graduating from Georgia State College of Law, I worked as an insurance defense attorney. By 2001 it became clear to me that I'd rather be working on the side of the victims, rather than the insurance companies.
